Mustik Motel Music is a brand-new label from Tampere, Finland, founded by two passionate music lovers: Jarno Alho, a renowned recording, mixing, and mastering engineer, and Antti Kujala, a DJ, radio host, and record collector. Their passion for music is evident in both the presentation and sound of their label's first release.

Tahmela Six consists of some of Finland's best improvisers. The sextet came together on December 29, 2023, at Tahmela’s Villa in Tampere. The session was recorded live, with the entire group in the same room, improvising and reacting to each other—and we can confirm it was a success. The atmosphere of this album immediately draws you into a stream of consciousness, transmitting a profound sense of unity to the listener. Tahmela Six sounds like a single cohesive entity.
