A remarkable journey to Africa inspired Barney Wilen to create this holy grail of an album. Some of the field recordings collected during almost 2 year road trip made it to the record. Additional sessions took place in France on his return. A collectible 2LP reissue from SouffleContinu comes with a booklet and DVD, which includes documentary footage from the trip.
